Carnival was extremely fun!! Give it a try, you won’t regret it!
Depends on what you are looking for, how many people are in your family and what age, which destination, how much money you want to spend, how much vacation time you have, where you are located, what your family likes (more beach and shopping or more culture, party or relaxing)
If you can give some more info, I believe you will get some good suggestions.
ive been on 2 crusies, carnival and royal caribbean, i have to say royal caribbean was better ! The cruise started in miami and went down to puerto rico, then to st. marten, st. thomas, and then bahamas…great cruise, lots of entertainment, good food, big ship, no complaints !
You will pretty much get the same kind of service on every cruise line you try. However, I would either try to go on Carnival or Royal Caribbean those two have the best reputations around and have something for everyone.

I just got back from a royal caribbean cruise and it was great.
Royal Caribbean, Royal Caribbean, Royal Caribbean, I’ve cruise both Carnival and Royal Caribbean, Carnival was, and I can say this because I am Black, Extremely Ghetto. I was on my family reunion committee and we chose Royal Caribbean EVERYONE had a good time, so much so, I was being asked when was our next trip going to be, before we even finished the one we were currently on.

Princess is a good all around cruise line.
There are so many excellent cruise lines that pinpointing one is quite impossible. There are many factors which need to be considered such as:
Your destinations.
Your budget.
Duration.
