Writing Sci Fi/Fantasy Sea Adventure. Which plot point do you like?

Deep sea treasure hunters make an unusual discovery. Should it be the ruins of Atlantis or a USO (unidentified submerged object.) I know both have been done before, but the story around the discovery is different.
Which plot point would intrgue YOU more? Thanks for your help
