Wanting to save money on booking a cruise in July 2010?
Any suggestions for saving money when booking a specific cruise? I looked on the Carnival site and their price appears to be cheapers but like but didn’t know if there are ever discounts or percentages off available anywhere…… also need to book airfare for trip as well.

which is better? booking your flight with the cruise line or doing it yourself?
right now we have it booked with the cruise line flying out of columbus(which is were we live), and we’d only save a little to book flights ourselves unless we did it from the dayton airport.

Are cruise fares paid in full upon booking?
I read somewhere that certain cruise lines only require a down payment and then the guests can make payments towards the cost of their cruise. Is this true? My fiance and I are planning a cruise to Bermuda on RCCL. Does anyone know if RCCL follows this policy or is the entire amount due at booking? Thanks!

Are tips included when booking a cruise online?
I’m looking to buy a cruise through a discount website like cruises.com or vacationoutlet.com. Their price says it includes the cost of the cruise and taxes. Does that include tips as well? I know that Carnival Cruises usually charges you an extra gratuity per person per day. Is that included in the cost or will the cruiseline charge me extra for that?

Last minute Miami – Caribbean cruise booking for non-Americans??
My boyfriend and I are planning 2-week holiday to Miami in March – we’d like to book a short Caribbean cruise while we are there. Is it difficult for non- Americans to book a last minute cruise? (Is the security tighter etc? We’ll have our passports of course, but would further checks or a waiting period be required also?)

Cruise: Booking hotel room to visit Atlantis from 8a-5p?
Hello,
Is it worth it to book the hotel room at Atlantis (or nearby) if we are only on shore from 8a to 5pm (really 4pm to get back on time)? I would be coming off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in the Bahamas. By booking a room we would have access to the water activities.
