Caribbean Cruise Discount May/June?
I’m getting married May 30, 2009 and for our honeymoon my fiancee and I want to take a 5-7 day cruise to the caribbean (preferably the western caribbean). Does anyone know if booking later would get us a better price or if there are any discounts for cruises right now out there? I’m a student, but I do not know if there’s any discounts for that. Also my parents are Auto Club members (I don’t know if they book it for us if they could get us a discount or anything). Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Oh also, is the price listed for a suite room, on like expedia etc., (in my case ,600) the price for one person? Or does that cover two people?
Usually whatever price you see is per person. Unless you go through the complete booking process you do not see the total. As for cruises you do not have to belong to any site to get a $500 deal. You should get the exact same price for a cruise no matter where you book it. The cruise lines started this a couple of years ago. The only way someone would have different pricing is if they have put together group space which is different.
If you have questions please email me I have been on about 18 cruises with most of the cruiselines. I have also been to almost all of the caribbean islands.
You will also need a passport. starting june 1st will be required for cruise unless they change it again.
Join Travelzoo. I get emails from them weekly and quite often they have cruise deals for less than $500.
For the best deal it might just end up that you have to make a last minute decision a week before the wedding as to where you are going. It’s the best way to get a rock-bottom discount.
look up http://www.vacationstogo.com their great website lists all cruises and info that you will ever want to know, including the best last minute deals, i can recommend them
